Congratulations to everyone who had a go, including in last week’s comments, on facebook and by email (or even just secretly in your thoughts).

This has been a huge week for me as one of my beautiful girls finally delivered her sweet twins – I’m filled with love and admiration, and I’m constantly smiling.

Urgent request (nothing to do with nappy changing and midnight feeds): the Victorian parliament are about to consider the future of recreational duck shooting. It is imperative that they receive as many emails as possible from people who would like it to be permanently banned. The emails can be very brief or more detailed, ideas can be found on lirralirra posts, including the two Season of Shame posts. Please email your representative and copy it to: daniel.andrews@parliament.vic.gov.au, jaclyn.symes@parliament.vic.gov.au, jaala.pulford@parliament.vic.gov.au, lily.dambrosio@parliament.vic.gov.au, jacinta.allan@parliament.vic.gov.au, martin.pakula@parliament.vic.gov.au

If our voices are heard we truly will be able to stop the many horrors associated with this cruel, archaic ‘sport’ and focus on promoting nature-based tourism.

Happy birding

Kim

NB  I have finally created a Kim Wormald – lirralirra facebook page, my regular lirralirra posts will continue here as usual – many thanks to everyone who has clicked ‘like’ on the new page, you make me happy
